A New Sacred Lightbody Meditation for Now

Since January, and the beautiful regression session I did with Caroline, I have been learning more about my own role in the opening and healing of earthen vortices from my Spirit Guide and directly from Archangel Metatron. My work has been a combination of out-of-body meditative voyages and actually being led to vortices in my travels around the Western United States to physically heal the passage and draw forth cached energy from within the Earth. I understand that my physical presence at these sites is important in the acceleration of the Shift.

There is a process to preparing my body for this work. I have come to understand it as the New Sacred Lightbody Meditation. Metatron has asked me to share this practice of animating the sacred geometry of our bodies — Merkabah — to become conductors of light and love, and to seek wholeness — the merging of our physical bodies and our spiritual bodies into complete beings of light. I like to think of this as turning ourselves into sacred body crystals, which resonate, heal, and radiate love.

There are other known ways to activate your body as Merkabah, shared by respected thought leaders such as Drunvalo Melchizadek in The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life, and by Tachiri Tachi-Ren in What is Lightbody? Metatron teaches that the vibration of the world is everchanging. The ways we have been taught in the past are not wrong. They were right for the times and will still continue to be right for some people. This, however, is the way that he has taught me now. As always, as with everything, please choose your own path.

Before sharing the steps of this meditation, I will explain what we are doing when we activate our Sacred Lightbodies. As always, I will use lay terms and real speak to do this. I am a channel and I communicate with Metatron regularly, but this lesson has been long and is ongoing. I will share with you, in my own words, what I’ve learned (so far).

Turning Yourself On

Think of activating your Sacred Lightbody as turning yourself on. It is the activation of your highest and truest self, one with Source, one with others who are also one with Source. (Remember, we are all Source and Source is all of us. There is no us and them. Sometimes we forget this.)

The activation is activation on all levels. We are not just setting our physical selves aside to find spiritual awakening somewhere “out there.” We are connecting our physical and our spiritual with our mental and our emotional to become whole. As humans, the ideal is not to simply leave our cumbersome bodies behind and find ethereal enlightenment beyond, it is to fully embrace the bodies we have chosen and to empower ourselves in them as spiritual, emotional, and mental as well as physical. We are truly making the most of who we are. The most. The best. The brightest. Whole.

This is a very powerful meditation. Train yourself to use it and to gain understanding from it as you do. Trust that you will find what you need when you need it. Allow the shedding of the unimportant. Allow the understanding that you are more than just physical. Allow your higher self to invoke soul memory to teach you what you most need to know now. Allow communion with spirits, teachers, your guides, your council. Allow the revelation of your own latent talents and gifts, and your own soul’s purpose. This meditation is an invitation into yourself, fully understood and fully empowered, in and as and of Source.

Yes, you can find soul enlightenment without this meditation. There is no one way. This meditation is an accelerator. You have the potential to learn more and more quickly when you incorporate this meditation into your life, while keeping your eyes and your heart open in your daily doings to apply what you learn. Do be aware of and grateful for what you do learn as you go.

Remember that the higher vibration that so many people seek right now is not simply a gift from Spirit bestowed upon us because we really, really want it. It is the result of learning, understanding, seeking, and finding. It is a process. Honor the process. This new Sacred Lightbody Meditation is a meditation to help you along the way.

The New Sacred Lightbody Meditation

  • Open and activate your heart. This means different things to different people. My way of centering consciousness may be different than yours. I envision my heart opening and glowing with a radiating white light. My heart is on.
  • Open and activate your third eye. Sense what is around you and in you. Find your place in Source and in your body. My eye is open.
  • Open your other Chakras.
  • Create an energetic link to Source directly from your Crown Chakra. Allow Source light to enter you from above, flowing over your Chakras and through everything that is you. Allow the energy to flow at the amount and the rate that feels right to you.
  • Create an energetic link to the Earth vortex of your choosing. This is connecting you to Source via Earth. It is grounding you to the energy of this planet. Allow vortex energy to enter you through your base, flowing over your Chakras and through you. Allow this energy to swirl with Source energy inside you as a sacred vessel.
  • From the center point of your Third Eye, send out vectors of Source energy in six directions. Front and back. Left and right. Up and down. Send these vectors, or lines, to the edge of your own energy. The one reaching up extends to Source. The one reaching down extends directly through your Chakras. Set the vectors in spinning motion counterclockwise on the up-down axis.
  • Repeat the process of #6 with vortex energy from your Sacrum. This time, the vector reaching up extends through your Chakras, and the one reaching down extends to vortex energy. Set the vectors in spinning motion clockwise.

Allow yourself to feel the energy throughout. Allow the activation of spiritual, emotional, and mental self within, and then beyond, physical self. Allow yourself to experience the energy activated by the geometric structural foundation of this meditation.

When your meditation is complete, clear and close the energy link to Source, and clear and close the energy link to Vortex.

The Sacred Geometrical Structure and Movement of the Meditation

Metatron taught me the meditation before he taught me the why and how of it, so that is how I am presenting it here. I process analytically, so, of course, I had to make sense of it all. Why the spinning vectors in different directions from different chakras?

For a thorough understanding of sacred geometry and its function and form in our world and universe, I highly recommend reading the book I mentioned above, The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life, by Drunvalo Melchizadek. I have owned Volume One of the two-part series for more than a year, but only started reading it this winter. Remarkably, I found that the lessons I channeled from Metatron were reiterated in lessons, complete with diagrams, in the pages of the books that I read right after. No coincidence, of course. I don’t agree with everything Drunvalo writes, but I have found what he teaches about sacred geometry to be very helpful.

I intuitively knew that this mediation was very powerful and that it was somehow activating the sacred geometry of me and within me. I knew that in the sending out of straight-line vectors and then setting them in opposite spinning motion to create complementary spirals (how I visualized them so I had to presume that that is what they were), I was combining the masculine and the feminine of consciousness and imitating, or perhaps setting up, the matrix of creation. A few weeks ago I was feeling stumped, though. Before I went to sleep that night, I asked for help in a dream.

At 3 that morning I woke up, in the still and the dark, repeating the words “Fibonacci Sequence” over and over again. “Ok,” I thought, at first confused but then understanding that this was what I’d asked for. “I’ll look into this… when it’s not 3 am.”

You remember the Fibonacci Sequence from sixth grade math, right? Leonardo Fibonacci is the man who defined the sequence that starts with 1, 1 and goes on from there, with every next number being the sum of the two before it. 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34…

The geometrical representation of this sequence is where it gets very interesting. You start with two squares the size of 1. Then along one of their combined outer edges you place a square the size of 2. Along the combined edge of one 1 square and the 2 square, you add the square the size of 3. You keep adding a square the sum of the edges of the two prior along the longest edge of the created rectangle. If you apply a curve over the corners of the squares, you get a spiral. The spiral is very close to the Golden Spiral, which appears naturally all over our world — in the curls of shells and the blooms of flowers and the patterns of plants. The Fibonacci derivative is the version that we, as humans, can process and understand. It starts with one. One is something. It is very hard for us to comprehend all that comes before the foundation of 1. The true and divine Golden Spiral goes on infinitely in both directions. It has no beginning and no end. No beginning. That seems harder to grasp. So with Fibonacci, and to understand, we commence with 1.

From here I will connect you with a brilliant post from the blog UniversalZeroPoint, which explains “The Vortex Path of Consciousness” far better than I can. Please read it. When I found this, I was absolutely sure that I had found Metatron’s lesson, clearly explained through words and diagrams.

So what we are doing in this new meditation that Metatron has given us is creating spin around two zero points within ourselves, using our Third Eye and Sacrum Chakras as anchors, to generate the torus shape with a negative pole (yin) and a positive pole (yang) to create the self-sustaining arrangement of two vortices in our bodies — one connected to Source, and one connected to the Vortex energy of our world. As humans, and with what is needed on Earth right now, we want to be connected to both. The energy moves through the vortices, through us, to connect us, divinely, to the Universal Consciousness.

Through this meditation, we connect, we learn, we grow. We are literally making the most of who we are; making ourselves the best and the brightest versions of ourselves. We are making ourselves whole.

Sloane’s Story: Healing Depression through Regression Therapy

“Sloane” carried herself quietly, reservedly, as if her presence was an imposition or even a mistake. There was something about her, though, something captivating, and it was more than just the façade that some severely depressed people wear to hide their inner pain. Maybe I glimpsed her resolution to be strong again.

I welcomed her into my office and let her talk. She told me the story of her life from the time she was little until that day, a few weeks before she turned 48. She shared a plot full of heartbreak and disappointment and, in my eyes, uncelebrated achievements despite both. I asked her, “Are you empowered?” She said quietly, with a catch in her voice, “No. I have no power at all.”

On a scale from one to ten, she ranked both her powerlessness and her sadness as 10/10, and both were constant. On days that she was not expected at work, she neglected herself and life in general. She did not like herself. She had no joy. She couldn’t find the energy to do anything, let alone anything that she once loved to do. In fact, on those days, she didn’t get out of bed. Sloane was severely depressed.

The sole purpose of our first meeting was to talk and to decide together the plan for her therapy. I listened to her and then, allowing her to rest, performed a Tonglen meditation with her. Tonglen is the Tibetan Buddhist meditation of give and take, in which one visualizes the pain or illness of another (or a group, or the world), breathing it in and accepting it into oneself, then heals it using Source and love, and then breathes the purified essence back into the person. She agreed to come back the following week for the first of three regression therapy sessions. In the meantime, I asked her to spend as much time as possible with her horse, a friend and comfort to her, and to keep a daily gratitude journal, jotting three things a day for which she was grateful.

Life Summary
Sloane revisited a past life in which she was a young peasant woman who shared a profound and deeply connected love with a beautiful man, whom she married. The love they shared was magnetic and radiated from them like light. He was her sun, the center of her universe. All was perfect until one day, shortly after they married, he did not wake up. With no apparent cause, he died in his sleep. She became wrought with grief. She screamed and sobbed and pleaded for him to wake up. When he did not, her life fell apart. She became despondent and lost. She no longer washed herself, ate, or took care of anything around her. She became completely lost in depression. All she wanted was for him to come back. No longer believing in God, she prayed to her husband for strength, and in her desperation, she repeated the words “I am not strong.” Exhausted and completely spent by her grief, she prepared poison, lay down on his side of the bed, drank to her death, and allowed the suffering and pain to consume her without a fight.

She was so overwhelmed with sadness during this life that we navigated much of it in a safe, protective bubble of light. At one point, when she could not go on after her husband’s death, I invited him to join her in spirit, to help her gain understanding of the seeming injustice of it all and to help her move on to find healing. This meeting was a beautifully cathartic experience for her, in which she was able to ask him why. He told her: “My work was done. It was time for me to return home.” In reviewing their soul contracts (pre-life soul-level agreements) for that life, he told her “we agreed that I was to help you know happiness, love, and purpose.”

When her Spirit Guide joined them, he took the explanation a step further, tying it back into her life now: “This is the life for you to see now, as you grow stronger in your as Sloane. I am showing you the highest supreme love that you can reach to give you something to aspire to on your own, without anyone.” At first she found this cruel, but slowly, through love, she came to understand that self-love is a beautiful and worthy goal.

After this, she was able to go back into the life to learn all the important details until her death. In the Spirit Realm, her Spirit Guide returned to her, stood before her and said: “You are worthy.” When she disagreed and tried to criticize herself, he reached under her chin, lifted her face to his and said: “No. You are. No more speaking poorly about yourself. There is nobody else like you. Your journey is not done.” He then held out a gift for her — a necklace with an anatomically correct heart charm. She explained: “This is my heart. I have held life here, and this is where I hold love. He is reminding me.” (I found out after the session that this was a necklace that Sloane had actually bought for herself a few days earlier. She had felt drawn to it, as if it was imperative that she buy it.)

Her husband from the past life came to her again as well and told her: “Love yourself. Everything else will follow.” She came to understand that she must be kind to herself. They had explored their soul contracts earlier, and now, with more understanding after having lived out the rest of that life, she was aware that her part is to love herself.

She did not recognize the soul of her husband as someone in her current life and she asked him if she will meet him as Sloane. He said: “You will see me again.” He told her that he helps her every day, and that “it is time for you to bring voice to her intentions and needs for assistance to ask for help when you need it.”

When I asked her to look into a spirit-form mirror, she was “too disappointed to even look at myself.” Her Spirit Guide touched her heart, as did I, and we activated all of the lovely light within her. After, she was able to look at herself and see herself in the future. “This is me as I want to be: healthier, happier.” I touched her heart again and asked her to look into the mirror at herself now: “I see pure white light!” She beamed and admired her own brightness.

Sloane experienced two days of intense sadness after our session, but after that “it did not register at all.” Over the course of the week between sessions, her powerlessness fell to a ranking of 2/10. The difference in her from the first time I met her was stunning. She glowed, had energy, and was excited about life in general. She told me: “I have lots to do and I don’t feel hindrance in doing it. I have been sleeping better, and have been having very vivid dreams. I haven’t remembered dreams in 40 years!”

Life Summary
Sloane relived her life as Elizabeth, the only daughter of a governing lord. She had never known her mother, who died at childbirth, and had been raised by her father, whom she adored. When she was a young woman, her father passed away and she took over as governor. Despite the imposing wishes of her father’s advisors, whom she had inherited, she governed her people with grace and love, ensuring their rights, their education, and their healthcare. She became a beloved leader. She never doubted her authority nor her commitment to do what was right for her people, and in that assuredness, she dismissed the advisors once and for all. In another role reversal for the time, she actively courted a young man, Daniel, and married him to spend a long life of happiness together. She died an old woman, at the age of 86, adored by her husband and beloved by the people she governed for more than 65 years.

When I asked her what her own personal learning was from reliving this life, she said: “I have the power to control my own destiny, to choose, to be benevolent, to give of myself and to get so much in return. I have the power not to let others dictate my will.” She paused, however, and added: “This doesn’t seem possible.” Her Spirit Guide joined her then and once again lifted her chin: “This is you. Be open to this. You are capable.”

She had nothing to say to the advisors that she dismissed from service, though she did identify her emotionally abusive current-life ex-husband in the group. Upon reviewing their soul contract from that past life she found that his role was to teach her “that I am my own person.” Further, his current-life soul contract with her is to “teach me that I am stronger and more capable than I think I am.” This all made sense to her.

When she saw herself in the spirit mirror this time, she saw a kind, benevolent, and empowered woman. I asked her to describe herself to me. She said: “I am genuine. I am loving. I am magnificent!”

We moved forward from the transformation of the past life experience into three current-life memories of powerlessness that she was now able to view with new insight and understanding. In the process, she could adeptly express her anger towards her father, who was absent, selfish, and neglectful in her childhood, and to show compassion for her mother, who was overwhelmed and found solace in alcoholism when she and her sisters needed her. She came to understand that much of the sadness and neglect of her childhood was not in her control, and therefore, not her fault. This realization begins the healing of her current life.

In closing, we asked her Spirit Guide to share the most important lesson for her. He said: “Things will work out the way they are supposed to. You can actively find your own way, your own destiny, your own path.” She had a hard time with these words, still feeling underpowered, so I asked her to ask him why she should believe him. He said nothing but, in response, he turned himself into a beautiful, bright and powerful star, radiating a penetrating white light of love. She was immediately convinced.

When Sloane met with me again the following week, she rated her sadness and her powerless both at 0/10, and told me: “I do not feel powerless or sad at all. I trust that the universe will give order. I am open to it. I have been asking for a lot more help, both spiritually and from friends, and I have received it. I believe that this is my rebirth!”

I knew it was time to turn our focus from eliminating powerlessness to activating empowerment and that the final step in our work together would be to transform her inner child and current life experiences, completely liberating her from all the pain she’s held deep within her for a lifetime.

All the way back, inside her mother’s womb, Sloane experiences her mother’s own sadness, regret, and fear and adopts them as her own. She is anxious about coming into this life. When “grown up Sloane” speaks with “baby Sloane,” she tells her: “This is not all about you. You have a destiny. There’s a path. There’s a plan. Initially, it’s not going to be easy. You will experience pain so that you can better understand struggle, but remember that the people you love do not suffer because of you. You are a bright light. It will change. There will be an epiphany, an awakening after you come to the realization of the full extent of grief, sadness, and adversity. Then you will be free to learn and live your life for yourself.”

These words bolster her, and she travels through her current life, from powerless memory to powerless memory, transforming each one by seeing it now in a completely different light. She heals herself through a rough childhood of neglect, poverty, and abuse; through an abusive relationship and marriage; through a challenging divorce; and through a lifetime of never believing that she had the power to determine her own path — even though, in all reality, she did determine her path, and did very well along the way. She actively decides to break the patterns of her parents. She heals herself in her relationship with her father and acknowledges and gives love to nurture her mother. She is able to recognize the role her ex-husband played in her life and to truly accept that she actually made positive choices along her way to empower herself for her own rebirth.

At the end of the session, before I brought her out of trance, she told me with conviction: “I am not powerless. I am not emotionally defeated. I made choices based on what was best for me. This is my life! I did all of this! And I have set myself up to be the best possible me!”

Since our last session three weeks ago, Sloane has changed everything in her life. Literally everything. She has moved halfway around the world to start a new job. She left her friends, her work, her pets, and her home to start anew overseas. This move was on the calendar when she sought regression therapy. She chose to prepare herself for the shift by healing old wounds beforehand. That takes guts — both the move and the commitment to be well before it.

Healing takes time, but Sloane no longer describes or defines herself as powerless. In fact, she is empowered. She does experience waves of emotion — homesickness and sadness —and there are times when she feels exhausted, but this is all natural not only for someone who has gone through all this work, but also for someone who has upended every aspect of her life in one fell swoop and is still settling in. She will find her balance and her new normal. What is most important is that Sloane has embraced the fact that she is a self-powered woman who has decided to make these changes, and she is well in progress on her own rebirth.

The light that shines behind

Today, we celebrate the Super Moon eclipse of the sun. Spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically, it is a day of reset. It is a day of reflection and planning, of gratefulness and manifestation, of honoring personal change and of empowering giant leaps forward.

The eclipse is the foreseen, planned, and anticipated movement of our moon — our lovely opaque yet reflectively illuminating companion — into the direct line of sight of our sun —our one true light body and planetary source of light and life. Today, the moon will pass quietly between us and our source, and in the process will graciously take on its rare role as veil, presenting us with a show of natural wonder, yes, but also, in the process, gently teaching us, reminding us, of the light that shines behind — something that we often simply forget to acknowledge, and unfortunately, to appreciate.

Within us all shines the bright light of divine self. There is not one living person (or creature) that moves upon this planet without it. Just as a heart beats so does the inner light shine. Yet we forget. We forget when we allow ourselves to become base and hateful actors in the big production of life, and we forget when we dismiss others we somehow judge less divine than ourselves. We get caught up in the “reality” of all the veils we wear — our skin, our clothes, our social class, our work, our politics, our nationality, our language, our religion, our everything. And are the veils important? Today, the moon reminds us to look beneath and to see the light that shines behind.

In my healing work as a regression therapist, when navigating and uncovering the direst of human trauma or suffering, my clients and I sometimes bump up against a black veil, set in place by the subconscious to prevent further exploration. In his trance state, the client will be unable to see, to move forward at all. He will be aware of only black and to feel that he is “nowhere.” One of the ways to move through this shutdown is to take the time to encourage the client to look way down deep inside himself. Without fail, he will find light. He will travel inside the light to its source, and there he will see himself, his own divine self. In growing that light within, often all around him becomes illuminated as well. If it does not, all it takes is for the client to send a spark of that light into the darkness or, alternately, for the client to simply reach down and lift the thick veil of darkness to experience that which he has the power to address in order to heal himself. In reminding each person of the light within, all that is dark becomes light, and the light behind becomes accessible. There is always light behind.

Sometimes that which is between the light and ourselves is not completely opaque. Think of a stained glass window or an agate or a leaf. Sometimes it is only in holding a simple object to the back light that we can appreciate the finest beauty of it. Against the light, we can recognize the structure and essence and intricate beauty of that which otherwise sleeps unassumingly in shadow. Today the moon reminds us to hold others to the light to see their hidden facets, to hold our challenges to the light to see the bright opportunities that they may be hiding, to hold our pain to the light to find the learning and growth it offers us. It is impossible for darkness to reign or even to remain in the light. It is impossible.

Today, on the day of the eclipse in Pisces, I invite you to learn from the moon and to truly see and appreciate the glory of the light that shines behind.
